Social Dance is also called International Ballroom Dance. It can be divided into two major categories, which included International Standard and International Latin as follows:

 -International Standard Dances include Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep.

 -International Latin Dance include: Cha-cha-cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Dobie and Jive.

These dances are easy and simple and this course is suitable for participants of all ages with no experience.

Step Aerobics (踏板舞班) (Zoom)

This class is designed to emphasize cardiovascular endurance through a variety of exercises that stimulate heart and lung activity. The instructor will teach the master stepping techniques which is coordinated stepping movements performed to music. Target heart rate/fat burning principles will be stressed while increasing the intensity and duration of exercise. It is suitable for all level of participants. Let’s come and have an effective workout.

HKU Run

This HKU Run Training aims to facilitate participants preparing for the long-distance race such as 10k; 21k Half-Marathon in the Standard Chartered Marathon Race in October 2021. It aims for improving participants’ knowledge in running drills, posture; techniques; endurance building-up; and running conditioning exercise in regular practice.

Several running drills and conditioning training exercise will be demonstrated.

It’s suitable for all beginners and intermediate level runners.

*Current RN02 Runners could enjoy $200 discount for RN03 course fee

Bollywood dances are fast paced and high-energy dance sequences found in movies. It mixes western hip hop/jazz aspects with the elements of classical Indian dances. The dances are cheeky, energetic and filled with optimism, which are lively combinations of acting and dancing. Through popular movie dance routines, the workshop will provide an understanding of the fundamentals behind Bollywood dance, focusing on body posture & spatial awareness, isolating body parts to define movements, improving coordination & rhythm, as well as hand gestures & movement angles.
